Call for proposals October 2020

EAP264. Mongolia

Our annual grant cycle has been disrupted by the pandemic this year, but we are having a very limited call for proposals to be reviewed by the EAP Panel in April 2021 and awarded in May 2021 for a July start at the earliest.

Applicants must make a compelling case for the project to be in the current round rather than waiting for the next ‘standard’ round in 2021/22. For this limited round we will prioritise projects that involve little or no travel, and the team and equipment can be sourced in-country.

We are trialing an online form this year and we prefer to receive the online version if possible, but recommend that applicants plan their answers on the Word document first.

We urge you to read the Guidance for Applicants and the Grant Agreement template before applying and to get in touch if you have any questions that are not answered by these two documents. Note that all grants are subject to the standard terms and conditions and we require all access permissions and rights to be cleared prior to award.

The deadline for preliminary applications is midday on Monday 16th November. Applicants who are invited to submit a detailed proposal by February 2021 will be notified in December.
