Perhaps (for a blog for an oral history project) our posts are a little scant on audio clips. We will address this and I hope to shortly post a podcast of a seminar given by Tom Lean and Paul Merchant at UCL earlier in the year.
In the meantime, those interested in the project (and based in London) might like to attend the current conference organised by the Royal Society: Science Voices: Scientists speak about science and themselves. The OHBS team will be attending en masse and Dr Paul Merchant, interviewer for A Changing Planet strand, will be giving a paper on the second day entitled 'Oral History and the scientific self', looking in particular at the how scientists interviewed for the project reflect upon their childhood. A full programme for the day can be found here.
