The UK Intellectual Property Office, following the Gowers Review on Intellectual Property, has been consulting on copyight exceptions, and following this has published a second stage consultation, suggesting options to implement this. Copyright exceptions is when certain activities are allowed for certain reasons such as legal, education, research and so on.
